Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement

MHHS will see the energy industry work together, to significantly reform how the electricity market operates, from generation and distribution to consumption and storage, in support of the transition to a low-carbon, net zero industry for our customers and their businesses. In short, MHHS aims to:

• Make the settlement process more accurate and timelier
• Act as an enabler for the introduction of new products and services to move usage away from peak demand periods
• Encourage innovation to deliver a smarter and more flexible electricity system
• Save consumers money on their energy invoices
