FAQs
How long will it take for my change of occupancy to be actioned?
Once we have received all the required and correct information, we will aim to process your change of occupancy within five working days.
Will I be notified once I have completed the online form?
Yes, you will receive a pop-up message to confirm that the form was submitted successfully, and then you will be sent an email explaining the next steps shortly afterwards.
What prices will I be charged?
If you are an outgoing customer, as part of the online form you can request prices for your new premises and a member of our team will contact you to discuss our competitive rates. As for your final invoice, the prices will be reflective of your existing contract.
If you are an incoming customer, we will set you up on deemed out of contract rates, but we will also provide you with information on how to contact our Sales Team to discuss rates for a fixed-term contract.
I don’t know what my annual consumption will be?
If you don’t know your projected annual usage, then we can estimate this for you using your latest meter reading, so please try to include this on the form. If you do not have this to hand, we will estimate your annual usage based on the latest reading in our system. Please note that if you have a Half-Hourly (HH) meter, your meter readings will be sent to us automatically.
How will I know if the change of occupancy process has been completed?
Once you have completed the online form, we will send you a confirmation email. If you are the outgoing customer, we will generate your final invoice. If you are the incoming customer, you will receive a letter with price information for deemed rates and we will provide you with details about how you can enter into a fixed contract with us.
Why has my request been rejected?
There could be more than one reason why your request has been rejected. We will contact you and advise of the specific reasons.
I’m moving in, and I don’t have the documents you have mentioned?
Submit your move details anyway. One of the team will be in touch to discuss your options if documentation is required to validate the information provided.
I’m having difficulties filling out my details, what should I do?
Please give our Business Movers Team a call on 0800 107 2074 and one of the team will happily guide you through submitting your details.
I have submitted my change of occupancy request, when will I be contacted about a contract?
Once your change of occupancy has been logged, you will be contacted with a quote within two to three working days by our Sales Team.
What do I do if I am moving out and I want nBS to supply my new premises?
If you are submitting your request through Dashboard, then note your request in the comments section. If you are letting us know via our online Change of Occupancy form, just tick the option ‘I would like to be quoted for an nBS contract at the new address’. This alerts our Sales Team, who will be in touch with you.
