Module explained: Site Dashboard

The Site Dashboard offers a straightforward overview of energy performance for a single site at a time.

This dashboard can be located by clicking on the three-line menu at the top left of your screen. Selecting SITE DASHBOARD from the drop-down menu will allow you to view the following reports in one place:

Last Month vs Same Month Last Year

This chart provides a comparison between the last calendar month and the same period in the previous year.

Portfolio and League Table

Towards the bottom of the Site Dashboard, you will see a display of your electricity portfolio in both a map and tabular format. The map displays the geo-location of all sites in your portfolio, with colour-coded icons to help you gain fast oversight of the number of sites in a particular region along with the sites’ performance compared to the previous year.

The tabular view displays a more detailed analysis of the energy performance of each individual site.

Power Factor

This widget shows your average power factor for the previous month.

A power factor is a way of comparing the total or ‘apparent’ power that passes through the meter and the ‘real’ power that is used on your site. The higher the power factor, the more efficient your site is at using supplied power.

Your power factor is important if you are on a demand-based electricity tariff.  Having a high power factor will prevent you from paying unnecessarily high demand charges.
